Health and Safety Policy

The Big Blue Box Ltd is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, clients and anyone else affected by our business activities.

The Directors recognise the paramount importance of safety, health and welfare, in the successful conduct of its business and will meet statutory obligations to employees and other people who may be affected by its activities, as required by relevant legislation.

The Big Blue Box Directors believe in the active participation of every member of staff in promoting, achieving and maintaining the highest standards of accident prevention, in so far as this is reasonably practicable.

The Big Blue Box policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all staff and to provide such information, instruction, training and supervision as may be required for this purpose.

The approach will be based on the identification, assessment and control of risks.

The following organisation and arrangements will be made to support the policy.

Christopher Dyson, Director has ultimate responsibility for Health and Safety for the Big Blue Box Ltd.

All staff must take reasonable care and be responsible for their own health and safety and that of the people they work with and co-operate with the company in all safety related matters.

In particular, we will seek out appropriate information and advice to ensure the health and safety of our staff when they travelling for business reasons and are guests, visitors or contractors within other organisations.

Arrangements for carrying out the Policy will incorporate consultation with appropriate staff, and reference will be made to practical guidance and approved codes of practice.

Monitoring

Progress against these objectives will be monitored through periodic meetings. We will review our progress and note achievements at our year end in March each year.
